On Tuesday, November 12, Verizon and Barbie announced their first-ever partnership for the upcoming holiday season, Barbie Streamhouse, powered by Verizon.
This holiday season, Verizon has transformed Barbie DreamHouse into Barbie StreamHouse with Verizon Home Internet.
The inaugural partnership will feature Barbie as the star of Verizon's holiday campaign. Within the campaign, fans of all ages can enjoy special content, merchandise, an IRL Barbie StreamHouse experience in NYC, giveaways, and more.
Verizon and Barbie is hosting an IRL Barbie StreamHouse experience in New York City from December 12 - 15 in SoHo at 214 Lafayette Street. The IRL pop-up experience is a life-size replica of the StreamHouse, which will be free and open to the public. Entry will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis.
Visitors of all ages will have an opportunity to enjoy activities including interactive experiences, exclusive merchandise, and more.
Through an interactice, guided experience hosted by Barbie, visitors will be guided through the house with holiday-themed photo opportunites, surprises, interactive games, giveaways and more.
A few lucky Verizon customers who attend the pop-up will have an opportunity to score exclusive merch, t-shirts, customized phone cases and more. Plus, visitors can enjoy holiday gifts inspiration with a virtual shopping experience featuring holiday merchandise from Barbie and Verizon. Holiday merchandise include the Barbie phone, Verizon's Gizmo Watch, and more.
Verizon customers will have the opportunity to customize their own complimentary Barbie phone case. Only available for iPhone 12 & up (excluding iPhone MAX) and Samsung Galaxy S23, S24 and Ultra phone models.
Through a partnership between Barbie Dream Gap and Girls, Inc. of New York City, Mattel Philanthropy and Verizon hosted 100 students for a special Barbie StreamHouse experience. Students will be able to enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at Verizon's technology, and receive holiday play kits including Barbie toys and merchandise.
Students from a neighboring Verizon Innovative Learning school were also invited to enjoy the StreamHouse experience. Verizon Innovative Learning is a program that empowers students to fulfill their goals through extensive support for teachers, free tech-infused learning, emerging technologies (i.e. 5G), and Internet access.
Barbie Dream gap is an initiative with a global mission to close the gap by challenging gender stereotypes, and assisiting young girls to undo biases that prevent them from achieving their dreams and goal.
Girls Inc. of New York City is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides life transforming programs for young women, girls, and gender-expansive youth to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers in the New York City region.
Verizon and Barbie's partnership will showcase Verizon's portfolio of offerings for families including Verizon Family, The Gizmo Watch 3- Adventure, Verizon Home Internet and myPlan.
