(June 22, 2025, NEW YORK, NY )-- On Friday, June 20th, 2025, Times Square welcomed the summer solstice with free yoga sessions for locals and international yogis at the 23rd annual Solstice at Times Square event, ahead of International Day of Yoga. Yoga participants enjoyed a complimentary, one-hour yoga session. This year, June 20th was the day of the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. Seven yoga sessions were hosted by various instructors to help yogis de-stress from the bustling streets of New York City from sunrise to sunset on 7th Avenue between West 46th and West 47th Streets.
Upon arrival, participants received a complimentary yoga mat to use during their session. This year's theme was "Mind Over Madness," which allowed New Yorkers and tourists to wind down and relax in the heart of the Crossroads of the World through yoga practice. Over hundreds of participants registered and attended the Solstice at Times Square event. At the conclusion of the yoga session, yogis visited the Yoga Village on Broadway between West 45th and West 44th Streets, where sponsored brands provided complimentary beverages and goodies such as Smart Water, Muscle Milk, and Ryze Superfoods.
