(NEW YORK, NY) November 24, 2025-- The ninth iteration of the iconic Times Square New Year's Eve Ball, The Constellation Ball made its debut atop One Times Square.
The Constellation Ball consists of 5,280 circular crystals provided and created by Waterford, which is nearly double the number of crystals as the previous Ball. The new circular crystal design represents the departure of the triangular-shaped crystals.
There are three different crystal sizes: 1.5-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch in diameter. Each crystal size features a unique design that celebrates eternal positivity, "Infinite Joy," "Infinite Light," and Infinite Beginnings. Later this year, three new designs will be introduced for the 2026 crystals.
With modernized technology, state-of-the-art lighting, and new signature sound and interactive capabilities, the Constellation Ball is the most technologically advanced iteration of the Times Square New Year's Eve Ball.
For the first time ever, the public will be able to access the Ball up close through two ticketed experiences at One Times Square. The Ball Access Experience provides visitors the opportunity to view the Crossroads of the World from above, and a photo moment with the Ball.
The Premium Ball Exprience woll provide visitors an opportunity to craft a special message that will be translated into Morse code, and visually communicated through light on the Ball. To commemerate the experience, Premium Ball Experience ticketholders will receive a crystal as a keepsake, representing a piece of New York City history.
